One of the top-level strategic Research Communities of the University of Eastern Finland is Climate Forcing, Ecosystems and Health. The Aerosol Physics research group at the Department of Applied Physics, which has a leading role in this research community, is looking for potential candidates for those PhD positions.<\/p>\n<p>We at the Aerosol Physics research group would be happy to help motivated candidates to prepare a competitive application on a topic related to our group\u2019s research focus (secondary organic aerosol formation &amp; properties, aerosol-cloud interactions, aerosol effects on climate and specific topics of contact persons below). Suitable candidates should have background in physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, meteorology, environmental science, computational sciences, engineering or in another relevant field.
