The conference will take place on the Joensuu campus of the University of Eastern Finland, in the Metria building. The city of Joensuu is located in Eastern Finland, approximately 400 km from Helsinki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to reach?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Joensuu can conveniently be reached by plane, train, or car from Helsinki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plane<\/em>
There are daily connections between the Helsinki-Vantaa airport (the main hub in Finland) and Joensuu airport. The flight time to Joensuu is around one hour.\u00a0Please consult your travel agency for up-to-date information. Helsinki-Joensuu flights are operated by Finnair. The timetable can be found on its official website: https:\/\/www.finnair.com\/fi-en\/timetables<\/a>
Please reserve your flights from Helsinki to Joensuu and back in advance since the airplane has limited amount of seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Train or car<\/em>
The land connection between Helsinki and Joensuu takes around four or five hours. Please consult VR<\/a> for timetables and online tickets regarding train connections. Participants who arrive by plane to Helsinki, and who like to continue by train to Joensuu, may either go to Tikkurila train station or to Helsinki City train station (e.g. by local trains<\/a> or taxi).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
