Venue, travel information and accommodation
The BioMEP annual meeting will be held in Lund, Sweden. The city of Lund and the surrounding region of Skåne offer many interesting tourist sites. More information can be found from Visit Lund website.
Venue for the student workshop
On Wednesday Feb 27, the student workshop will take place at the engineering campus: Studiecentrum, Genombrottet, LTH. It is approximately 15 minutes walk from Lund central station.
Seminar venue
On Thursday Feb 28 and Friday Mar 1, the BioMEP annual seminar will take place in the historic centre of the university campus area in Lund, called AF Borgen. The exact location can be found here (Google maps).
Travel information
Lund is easily accessible from Copenhagen International Airport (main international airport in the region) by train. Trains depart every 20 minutes from Copenhagen airport towards Sweden and all trains stop at Lund Central station. Train tickets can be bought at the airport from Skånetrafiken ticket machines. More information on public transport can be found on Skånetrafiken website. Once you reach Lund Central, the seminar venue is only a 500 metres walk away from the station.
