The project studies how diverse types of institutions across European democracies \u2013including parliaments, executives, courts, climate advisory bodies, citizens’ assemblies & mobilisation by activists \u2013 are  evolving and innovating to respond to the climate crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RETOOL starts in February 2024 and run for 3 years. It is coordinated by Diarmuid Torney Dublin City University<\/a> and brings together an international and interdisciplinary consortium including Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB)<\/a>, Universit\u00e0 di Trento<\/a>, Ghent University<\/a>, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU)<\/a>, University of Eastern Finland<\/a>, HOLISTIC <\/a>, DD Foundation<\/a> and The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Annalisa Savaresi leads the work on courts and climate advisory bodies, working in partnership with colleagues at LSE and VUB.<\/strong>

The project grows out of our existing collaboration within the GreenDeal-NET<\/a> Jean Monnet network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
