The conference will be held in the Scandic Hotel Kuopio<\/a> (Satamakatu 1, Kuopio) \u2013 right by the shores of lake Kallavesi in the heart of the Finnish Lakeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to get to Kuopio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Arriving by airplane<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Finnair<\/a> operates flights between Helsinki and Kuopio. Kuopio airport is located in Toivala, about 16 kilometres from the city centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To get to Kuopio, you can preorder a taxi via Taksi Ykk\u00f6set<\/a> before your arrival or use bus line 40<\/strong> (see the bus schedule here<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also several car rentals<\/a> available at the airport. Please check their opening hours and details from their website in advance, since some operate solely by reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arriving by train or bus<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Train<\/a> and bus<\/a> connections to Kuopio are available from many Finnish cities. Taking the train from Helsinki to Kuopio takes approx. 4 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The train station and central bus station are located in the city centre, approximately 1.6 km from the conference venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
