Location
- The event takes place on UEF Kuopio campus in Snellmania building
- Arriving and parking
- Talks will be in Auditorium SN100 (1st floor)
- Poster sessions and sponsor exhibition will take place in Snellmania lobby
- The career afternoon takes place in Auditorium SN100 (1st floor) and SN 2nd floor seminar rooms
Credits
- Attendance to the symposium, a presentation (oral or poster presentation) and peer review yields 1,5 ECTS. Attendace to the career workshop and completing the related pre-assignment yields an additional 0,5 ECTS.
Fees
- The scientific program is free for all FoHS Doctoral researchers, supervisors and other research group members, including undergraduate students
- Fees for catering and social program
- Scientific program and coffees on both days (8 eur)
- Scientific program and lunches + coffees on both days (15 eur)
- Scientific program and dinner (15 eur)
- Full program including scientific program, lunches + coffees on both days + dinner (25 eur)
- Please note that catering during the event and participation to the social program are confirmed only after the payment has been received.

The career afternoon (workshop) on Monday 19 May 2025 focuses on different career paths after the doctoral degree. In the workshop, you will get a chance to hear and discuss about different career paths (academic, business, administrative etc.) and opportunities with external speakers from various fields as well as you peers.

The symposium dinner will take place on Tuesday 20 May 2025 at 18:30 at Kuopion Klubi. The maximum number of participants is 100.

For sponsors, we are offering the following packages:
- Bronze: 300 euros for logo/product information visibility (website, slide show during breaks etc.)
- Silver: 600 euros for 10 minute short talk in the program (limited number of talks available) OR a stand in the sponsor exhibition, logo/product visibility in meeting materials, participation in the scientific program and catering for two participants
- Gold: 900 euros for 15 minutes short talk in the program (limited number of talks available) AND a stand in the sponsor exhibition, logo/product visibility in meeting materials, participation in the scientific program and catering for two participants.
