Presentation format

Full papers will last 30 minutes, with a 20-minute presentation and 10 minutes for questions. We strongly recommend that you send the final version of your slides by Monday 09/12/2024 12.00 noon to DRDHUM24@uef.fi The document title should have the first two words of the paper title. Format – pptx or pdf. You can, if you wish, bring your presentation on a memory drive or your own laptop, though this might cause delays. If you bring a Mac, we recommend that you bring connection cables as we might not have these available in all venues.

Posters can present work in progress, research summaries, and presentation of technologies or approaches that you think will benefit from the genre of an academic poster. They can be greyscale or multicoloured. We recommend that you print posters in portrait A0 size. Please note that display boards have a width of 115cm: vertical formats are preferrable. You may print and bring your own hand-outs, though it might be more useful to have an QR code on the poster itself which will take people to the relevant page.
Posters will be presented throughout the conference and presenters will have the opportunity to discuss their work on Tuesday during a dedicated session.
