According to EATRIS headquarters, EATRIS-Finland is one of the most advanced national EATRIS nodes with expertise and validated services in key areas of EATRIS operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">With the advances in genomics and biomedical sciences, huge opportunities are emerging for the treatment and diagnostics of many severe currently untreatable diseases. Most new developments fall under a regulatory class called Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP). Strict regulatory requirements for manufacturing, testing and translational studies are needed before these biological products can be brought to clinical use.
