Additionally, a physical copy of the schedule will be handed out to each participant at the conference venue upon registration.
The Reception hosted by the City of Helsinki will take place at Helsinki City Hall, Pohjoisesplanadi 11-13, Helsinki. The reception begins at 18.00 and ends at 19.30.
The event is only for participants who have registered beforehand. Please present the QR code of your ticket at the entrance.
The conference venue,Metsätalo, is located in very heart of Helsinki at Unioninkatu 40. Mestätalo is a mere six minute walk away from the Helsinki Central railway station. In addition Metsätalo is easily accessible by either bus, tram, or metro.
Yes, you can on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. At the registration you will receive a gift bag, lunch coupons, and an ID badge. Registration will take place at the conference venue, Metsätalo (Metsätalo, Unioninkatu 40 on Google Maps).
On Thursday, registration opens at 8.00 and participants can enjoy coffee before the welcoming remarks by University of Eastern Finland’s Vice-rector Laura Hirsto and the first Keynote by Professor Anu Puusa. Parallel sessions begin at 10.00.
The Conference Dinner will be held at Bistro O Mat Hakaniemi on Thursday June 12 from 19.00 onwards. Bistro O Mat Hakaniemi is located at Toinen Linja 7 00530 Helsinki. The Dinner features an exquisite array of dishes complemented by quality live entertainment. The Conference Dinner is only for participants who have registered beforehand to the dinner.
Participants will be provided with lunch coupons which can be redeemed at Metsätalo’s own restaurant UniCafe Metsätalo. Lunch coupons will be provided upon registration.
