Transportation to Helsinki City Center

Trains from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to Helsinki city center

Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is served by the I and P trains, which run between the airport and Helsinki city center every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday. Trains run every 15 minutes on Sundays. The airport train station is located directly below the airport terminal and is accessible by lift or escalator.

P trains take about 32 minutes to get to the city center
You need an ABC-zone ticket to travel from the airport to Helsinki City Center (tickets can be purchased from ticket machines at the airport or the HSL app)

Transportation to and from Joensuu

Joensuu can be accessed conveniently by either train or airplane.

Joensuu railway station is located about a 15-minute walk away from Joensuu City Center and a 30-minute walk away from the University campus. Both destinations are easily accessible by public transportation, taxi and rental car.
