From the airport, you can reach the city center conveniently on bus number 6. For public transport, we recommend downloading the Waltti mobile app, where you can easily view timetables and purchase tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Joensuu Campus is compact, making it easy to walk between buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taxi services in Joensuu include Taxi Eastern Finland (+358 601 10100) and Kuopion Taksiykk\u00f6set Oy (+358 300 301 111).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accommodation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several accommodation possibilities in the city of Joensuu. However, we have received a special offer for our conference guests from two local hotels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenstar.fi\/en\/hotels\/greenstar-hotel-joensuu\/\">GreenStar Hotel Joensuu <\/a><strong>(Torikatu 16, 80100, Joensuu<\/strong>) <strong>offers accommodation and breakfast for conference guests at the following rates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u20ac97 \/ single room \/ night<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u20ac109 \/ double room \/ night<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dates:<\/strong> September 29 &#8211; October 1, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each guest is responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodation. <strong>Reservations can be made directly with the hotel by phone or email, using the booking code &#8220;ICCE2025&#8221;. Reservations must be made by September 15, 2025. Special rate rooms are limited.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sokoshotels.fi\/en\/hotels\/joensuu\/original-sokos-hotel-vaakuna\">Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna Joensuu<\/a> <strong>(Torikatu 20, 80100,&nbsp;Joensuu) offers accommodation and breakfast for conference quests at the following rates: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u20ac116 \/ night \/ single standard room<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u20ac136 \/ night \/ double standard room<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u20ac146 \/ night \/ single superior room<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u20ac166 \/ night \/ double superior room<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Extra bed charges:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u20ac25 \/ adult \/ room \/ night<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u20ac20 \/ child \/ room \/ night<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dates:<\/strong>&nbsp;September 29 \u2013 October 1, 2025 (or from September 28 upon request)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The price includes accommodation, a generous buffet breakfast, use of the resident sauna, Wi-Fi, and 14% VAT. We reserve the right to adjust the VAT rate. Rooms are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival until 12:00 PM on the day of departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each guest is responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodation. <strong>Room reservations at the offer price can be made until September 7, 2025, subject to availability.<\/strong> <strong>Rooms can be booked using the booking code &#8220;BICCE2025&#8221; at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sokoshotels.fi\">www.sokoshotels.fi<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reservations can be canceled free of charge until 6:00 PM on the day of arrival. Guests are responsible for their own accommodation and cancellation costs.
