With a combined dataset of approximately <strong>2.5 million participants<\/strong>, the ERFC conducts in-depth <strong>individual-participant data (IPD) meta-analyses<\/strong> to study risk factors for <strong>cardiovascular diseases and cause-specific mortality<\/strong>. CLL is the most common adult leukaemia in the UK, affecting around <strong>31,900 people<\/strong>, primarily those over <strong>60 years old<\/strong>. Coordinated by the <strong>WHO Collaborating Centre at Imperial College London<\/strong>, led by <strong>Professor Majid Ezzati<\/strong>, it pools data from <strong>3,300+ surveys<\/strong> with nearly <strong>200 million participants<\/strong> since 1957. With rising retirement ages, the project recognizes the value of senior employees&#8217; <strong>experience and knowledge<\/strong> while addressing challenges in keeping them <strong>active and efficient<\/strong> without health risks. It seeks to <strong>debunk myths about aging and learning<\/strong>, leveraging <strong>innovative technologies<\/strong> to support skill development and workplace adaptation.
