Thank you for joining us at the Kuopio Epilepsy Symposium, which was held on March 13-15, 2024, at Kuopio City Theatre in Kuopio, Finland<\/span>. We’re delighted to have brought together professionals from various fields of epileptology to share and expand their knowledge on rare and complex epilepsies. Although the live event has concluded, we are pleased to offer all content on-demand until May 15, 2024. View the Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2024 symposium marked the 10th in a prestigious series of epilepsy meetings organized by the Finnish Epilepsy Society<\/a>, the Finnish Association of Pediatric Neurology<\/a>, the Finnish Epilepsy Association<\/a>, the Brain Research Unit (University of Eastern Finland)<\/a>, and Kuopio Epilepsy Center\/Kuopio University Hospital<\/a>, an EpiCARE ERN member<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights included a dedicated Nursing Program<\/a> and a Workshop on Biomarkers for Epilepsies and Neurodegenerative Diseases. For more details, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are grateful for the enthusiastic participation in our symposium and for the insightful Abstracts<\/a> submitted. Our Collaborators and Supporters<\/a> played a crucial role in the success of this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The symposium also provided a platform for the YES-ILAE activity for young doctors and researchers, including an abstract competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope that the symposium offered valuable insights and networking opportunities, and we look forward to welcoming you to future events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
