He evaluates the process of clinical reasoning in AI-enhanced Virtual Patient (VP) platforms. His current work&nbsp;focuses on&nbsp;how students deal with&nbsp;medical simulations in order to capture and model different clinical reasoning patterns. The goal is to use data-driven feedback to improve the overall quality of healthcare training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Islam has a Master&#8217;s degree from Alexandria University in Egypt. Before he started the doctoral program, he&nbsp;was in charge of the e-Learning and Assessment Units. where he learned a lot&nbsp;about pedagogical design, problem-based learning (PBL), and how to combine learning management systems with personalized analytics dashboards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, his clinical and academic research had&nbsp;focused on evaluating the knowledge students gain throughout their education.
