At the University of Eastern Finland, the focus areas of logopedic research are language-based learning difficulties and challenges in language development, longitudinal and cohort research, multidisciplinarity and internationality. The research also focuses on child vocal development and its associated disorders. In addition, research is being conducted on post-stroke speech and communication disorders.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Communicate Research Network brings together researchers interested in communication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in 2021, The Communicate Research Network  facilitates discoverability between researchers interested in communication so that they can meet more easily. The aim of the meetings is to get to know each other, to build the network, to describe the research as well as to plan various ways of collaboration. These meetings have also showcased the new laboratory and research facilities for logopedics at the University of Eastern Finland, which enable a wide range of research perspectives. Based on the meetings, four themes have been formed for the Communicate Network, listed below. These themes are worked on in small groups. If you are interested in hearing more or if you want to work on one of the themes, you are welcome to join.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Group themes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>intervention research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>speech research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>language research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>technology and digitality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Join the research network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you want to join the Communicate Network or hear more?
