Techniques and instruments are suited for <em>in vitro<\/em>, <em>ex vivo<\/em>, and <em>in vivo<\/em> experiments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Devices and instrumentation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ultrasound modelling and simulation (Rayleigh, FEM, k-space, &#8230;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vector impedance analyzer for electric impedance measurements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fiber optic hydrophone system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3D positioning systems with \u03bcm scale movements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radiation force balance with forwarded\/reflected electric power measurement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commercial Schlieren system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laser vibrometer for surface velocity and displacement measurements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High-speed ultrasound system for ultrasound research (Verasonics Vantage 128TM)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>128 transmit-receive channels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Linear array transducer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Synthetic Schlieren Tomography (SST) system\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The SST system is developed specifically for ultrasound field characterization and calibration.
