It\u00e4-Suomen yliopisto<\/a>, It\u00e4-Suomen yliopiston LUMA-keskus<\/a> ja Fotoniikan lippulaiva PREIN<\/a> toivottavat sinut l\u00e4mpim\u00e4sti tervetulleeksi Valoa perheille -tapahtumaan lauantaina 9. toukokuuta 2026 klo 10\u201314<\/strong> Joensuun Taidepuutarha Botanialle! Valoa perheille -tapahtuma j\u00e4rjestet\u00e4\u00e4n jo kuudetta kertaa, ja se on kerta kerralta kasvattanut suosiotaan sek\u00e4 tuonut fotoniikkaa \u2013 valon tutkimusta \u2013 l\u00e4hemm\u00e4ksi lapsia ja nuoria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

T\u00e4n\u00e4 kev\u00e4\u00e4n\u00e4 sukellamme v\u00e4rien kiehtovaan maailmaan \u2013 valon avulla<\/strong>. Tapahtuman teemana ovat v\u00e4rit: mist\u00e4 ne syntyv\u00e4t, miksi n\u00e4emme ne niin kuin n\u00e4emme, ja millaisia yll\u00e4tyksi\u00e4 valo paljastaa ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n v\u00e4reist\u00e4. Luvassa on hauskaa ja oivaltavaa tekemist\u00e4 koko perheelle! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lapsille (n. 3\u201312-vuotiaille) on luvassa j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4v\u00e4 v\u00e4riseikkailu, jossa selvitet\u00e4\u00e4n v\u00e4rien salaisuuksia valotieteen keinoin. Seikkailu sopii pienimmille yhdess\u00e4 aikuisen kanssa ja isommille itsen\u00e4isesti. P\u00e4iv\u00e4n aikana voi perinteisesti valmistaa \u00e4itienp\u00e4iv\u00e4lahjan \u2013 tietenkin\u00a0v\u00e4rien ja fotoniikan<\/strong>\u00a0avulla. Lis\u00e4ksi p\u00e4\u00e4set tutustumaan Taidepuutarha\u00a0Botanian\u00a0lumoavaan ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00f6n, jossa v\u00e4rit loistavat ja inspiroivat kaikkialla.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This spring,\u00a0\u201cLight for Families\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 dives into the world of colours with the theme\u00a0The Colour Revolution<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

University of Eastern Finland, University of Eastern Finland\u2019s LUMA Center<\/a>, and the Photonics Flagship PREIN<\/a> warmly welcome you to the\u00a0Valoa perheille<\/em>\u00a0event on\u00a0Saturday, 9 May 2026, from 10:00 to 14:00<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u00a0Joensuu Art Garden Botania<\/strong>. Valoa perheille<\/em>\u00a0event is being organised for the sixth time, and its popularity has grown year by year, bringing photonics\u2014the science of light\u2014closer to children and young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This spring, we will explore the fascinating world of colours through light. The theme of the event is colours: where they come from, why we see them the way we do, and what surprising things light reveals about the colours in our environment. The programme offers fun and insightful activities for the whole family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children (approximately 3\u201312 years old) can take part in an exciting colour adventure, uncovering the secrets of colours through the science of light. The adventure is suitable for the youngest children together with an adult, and for older children independently. As is tradition, participants can also make a Mother\u2019s Day gift during the day\u2014naturally using colours and photonics. In addition, you will have the opportunity to explore the enchanting surroundings of the Joensuu Art Garden Botania, where colours shine and inspire everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is free of charge and open to everyone. Come and enjoy a bright spring day with your family, learn something new, and celebrate Mother\u2019s Day in the spirit of colours and light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
