Digital technologies, such as Public Participation Geographic Information Systems (PPGIS), location-based games, and gamified applications, offer new ways to engage stakeholders in forest planning. It provides evidence-based recommendations aimed at policymakers, researchers, forest professionals, and technology developers to ensure digital forest governance that promotes equitable participation for everyone.
