ISS for the most topmost atomic layer, XPS penetration depth ~10 nm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quantitative elemental analysis by nondestructive methods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oxidation states of different elements, which can also be quantified<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2D-mapping for visual distribution, max resolution 10 \u03bcm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depth profiling for all kind of materials.
