Guidelines for Submitting a Working Group Proposal

The theme of the 2026 Social Work Research Days is Better Together. Proposals are invited for working groups that address, for example, multidisciplinarity and multiprofessional collaboration, interaction, well-being at work, integration of health and social services, co-research, client participation, or other phenomena related to the conference theme. Interdisciplinary perspectives are also welcome. Proposals may likewise focus on other current research topics in social work, conceptual discussions, research methods, or the development of services and practices. Working groups may be conducted in Finnish, Swedish, or English.

Until 15.10.2025Proposals should include:

• Title of the working group

• Convenor(s) + contact information

• Short description of the content of the working group (max. 250 words)

Please submit your proposal by 15 October 2025 as a Word document by email to: [email protected]

References should not be included in the proposal.

Notification of accepted working groups will be sent by email to the proposers by 30 October 2025. The call for abstracts for the working groups will open on 15 November 2025.
