The Sustainability Transformation Doctoral Education Pilot (SusTra) presented an essential opportunity for everyone to engage with our open Studia Generalia lectures in autumn 2025. The best experts in the field offered a lecture series, tackling the pressing sustainability challenges. These 14 online lectures provided impactful insights into creating a sustainable life and society across various domains, including work, business, leadership, administration, legislation, social imagination, well-being, and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These Studia Generalia lectures are based on an open&nbsp;<em>Sopuli<\/em>&nbsp;&#8221;Basics for Sustainability Transformations&#8221; PhD course organised by SusTra Doctoral Education Pilot, a collaboration of 10 universities and Finnish Environment Institute (Syke).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Sopuli online lectures &#8211; <em>Basics for Sustainability Transformations<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uef.fi\/en\/article\/sustainability-transformations-by-the-best-experts-an-open-lecture-series-and-doctoral-course-in-the\">The Sopuli lectures <\/a>were held online in zoom during autumn 2025, being  open to anyone interested in the topics. Furthermore, the doctoral researchers will be equipped with transferable skills for becoming sustainability transformations&nbsp;researchers in their respective fields of science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the lectures, the doctoral researchers are expected to write an essay (3000\u20134000 words, in English\/Finnish). The essay primarily centers on the information provided in the lectures.  To attain the credits (5 ECTS), one needs to follow the lectures and agree about the essay review with <a href=\"https:\/\/uefconnect.uef.fi\/en\/meri.loyttyniemi\/\">Meri L\u00f6yttyniemi<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/uefconnect.uef.fi\/en\/anne.airaksinen\/\">Anne Airaksinen<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grading of the course will be Pass\/Fail.
