By attending the conference or any associated event, participants agree to uphold the following standards.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Professional Conduct:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants are expected to:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Treat all attendees with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support an environment that encourages the free and open exchange of ideas.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to an academic and policyfocused event.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow all instructions from conference organizers and venue staff.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>AntiHarassment Policy:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Harassment in any form is strictly prohibited. This includes:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discriminatory or offensive comments related to gender, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intimidation, stalking, or unwanted following.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unwelcome photography or recording.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inappropriate physical contact or sexual attention.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use of sexualized language, imagery, or materials in any conference setting.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sponsors, exhibitors, and affiliated staff must also comply with this policy. Participants asked to stop inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Consequences of Misconduct:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The organizers may take any action deemed appropriate, including:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Issuing a warning\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removing the individual from a session\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Revoking conference credentials\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expulsion from the conference\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Serious incidents may be referred to venue security or local authorities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting Concerns:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please notify conference staff immediately.\u00a0<strong>Staff will be identifiable by official conference badges.<\/strong>\u00a0Organizers will assist participants in contacting venue security, law enforcement, or other support services as needed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All reports will be handled discreetly and professionally.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Identification Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All conference spaces are private event areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only registered participants or invited guests may enter.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants must\u00a0wear their official conference name badge at all times.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individuals without proper identification may be asked to leave or register.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Recording and Photographing Policy:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To protect intellectual property and ensure open dialogue:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Audio or video recording of sessions is prohibited without explicit consent from the presenter(s).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unauthorized recording must stop immediately upon request.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continued refusal may result in removal from the session.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Accredited journalists must register at the conference desk and adhere to this policy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"links-block\">\n\n            <h3>Equal and accessible university <\/h3>\n    \n    <ul class=\"link-list\">\n        \n            \n            <li class=\"link-list-item\">\n                <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uef.fi\/en\/equal-and-accessible-university\" class=\"link-reset link hover-scale-down\">\n                    <svg\n        width=\"43\" height=\"25\"\n        viewBox=\"0 0 43 25\"\n        xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\">\n    <path\n        d=\"M30.027 0 43 12.5 30.027 25 27 22.083 34.351 15H0v-5h34.351L27 2.917z\"\n        fill=\"currentColor\"\n        fill-rule=\"evenodd\"\/>\n<\/svg>                    <div>Read<\/div>\n                <\/a>\n                <div class=\"link-info\">\n                                    <\/div>\n            <\/li>\n\n                <\/ul>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The TALONS Conference organizers at UEF are committed to providing a professional, respectful, and safe environment for all participants.
