This is Ronald Sultana’s reflection on a Manifesto that was launched by Professors Laura Nota and Salvatore Soresi from the University of Padova (Italy).
The Manifesto for Inclusion represents ideas and proposals by over 600 academics and practitioners from all over the world. The Manifesto was formally launched at a conference held in Padova between 5-7 October 2017, with the title “Decent Work, Equity and Inclusion: Passwords for the Present and the Future”. The Manifesto articulates a different way of being in the world, promoting a set of values alternative to the ones we associate with neo-liberalism, and which promote inclusion and socially just practices at all levels of society.

The Manifesto as well as a volume edited by Nota and Soresi with reflections on the Manifesto are available at https://www.unipd.it/counseling-and-support2017/en/manifesto.
