{"id":694,"date":"2019-12-20T11:51:26","date_gmt":"2019-12-20T10:51:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/unitwin\/?p=694"},"modified":"2019-12-20T11:51:26","modified_gmt":"2019-12-20T10:51:26","slug":"acceptance-of-the-university-of-mons-as-a-member-of-the-unitwin-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.uef.fi\/unitwin\/2019\/12\/20\/acceptance-of-the-university-of-mons-as-a-member-of-the-unitwin-network\/","title":{"rendered":"Acceptance of the University of Mons as a member of the UNITWIN-Network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>University of Mons in the UNITWIN network &#8220;Life Designing Interventions (counselling, guidance, education) for decent work and sustainable development&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following the visit of Professor Jean Guichard (CNAM; first holder of the UNESCO Chair for Lifelong Guidance) at UMONS, as part of a Francqui Chair in early 2018, the Methodology and Training Department team, directed by the Prof. Marc Demeuse, proposed its candidacy to join the UNITWIN network.<\/p>\n<p>For more than 10 years, the team has conducted several scientific and educational projects on school guidance in French-speaking Belgium. Several publications and a thesis (Damien Canzittu, 2019) have been produced on the subject.<\/p>\n<p>The team&#8217;s focus on school guidance has been an asset to their candidacy to join the UNITWIN network and the candidacy was unanimously accepted by the other members of the network.
