The project Young carers in Finland: Life course transitions, family care chains and support for caring (YCaFin, 2024–2028) analyses the situation of young carers in Finland. Young carers are defined in this project as adolescents and young adults aged 15–24 who provide care, support, help, and/or assistance to (a) family member(s) or kin on a regular basis.

This project is funded by the Research Council of Finland (funding decision no. 359928).
