{"id":590,"date":"2024-09-19T09:16:52","date_gmt":"2024-09-19T06:16:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.uef.fi\/ycafin\/home-page\/"},"modified":"2024-11-28T10:58:04","modified_gmt":"2024-11-28T07:58:04","slug":"home-page","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.uef.fi\/ycafin\/home-page\/?lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Young carers in Finland"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <em>Young Carers in Finland<\/em> project (YCaFin, 2024-2028), we study the experiences of young people aged 15-24 who provide care for a family member or other person close to them who has a serious illness, disability, injury, mental health disorder or substance abuse problem, or who is very old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the project, we analyse how young carers&#8217; caring role shapes their life course transitions during adolescence and emerging adulthood.
