The School as Driver of Change – 21st Century Learning for the New Young Student document outcome is a comprehensive guidance pack for secondary schools and teachers. The aim is to guide interested schools in their journey towards taking steps to offer the young students open schooling learning practices in the form of schools and students as community change agents.
The Guide has been created as an interactive book showcasing a variety of topics supporting schools to become change drivers in their local communities including building, facilitating and sustaining school – community collaboration, maximising students’ strengths and agency, highlighting the core characteristics of agentic teachers and how to acquire them as well as 10 scenarios collected from the practical implementations of the project activities in the local communities of the participating schools in Finland, Greece, Lithuania, Romania and Turkey. Pictures, graphics and videos are also embedded in the book.
