Practical Information

Presentation Timing

To accommodate as many speakers as possible, we have created a very full programme. Keeping to the allocated time is therefore not only helpful but essential to ensure the event runs smoothly. Please also allow a few minutes for introduction and audience questions within your time slot.

Talk Logistics

Presentations should be brought to the event and uploaded to the conference laptop during any of the intervening sessions, preferably at the beginning of the day.

Using Your Own Laptop

Keynote speakers may use their own laptop; however, we would discourage this where possible. In addition to causing some disruption between sessions, we are accommodating a participant with a visual impairment who has requested access to the presentations through a Teams link on his customised laptop with zooming software. We plan to support this through an active Teams connection to his device, but this arrangement will not be possible if external laptops are used for presentations.

Poster guidelines

The conference organizers will provide a board (120 × 135 cm) for A0 posters along with attachment material (pins). The poster must fit these portrait dimensions and be formed of one continuous sheet.

• • The Poster should include title, name of authors, institution and country.

• • The poster should be easily readable from a distance of 1 meter.

• • The language of the poster should be English.

Poster Sessions

There will be three poster sessions during the conference:

Odd numbers for June 2nd and even numbers for June 3rd and a free session on the 4th of June. You can find your reference number in the abstract book.

Set-up: from 11:00 to 12:30 on June 2nd, 2026

Poster Session 1: 14:35-15:40 on June 2nd, 2026 (odd number presenters present)

Poster Session 2: 12:55-14:00 on June 3rd, 2026 (even number presenters present)

Poster Session 3: 12:00-13:00 on June 4th, 2026 (free presentation)

Dismantling/Collection: 14:40-15:00 on June 4th, 2026

All three sessions will take place in the adjacent room next to the main conference hall. The authors should be present at their poster during the designated poster session date and time. Refreshments will be served during the sessions.

Best Poster Awards

ChemistryEurope (ChemMedChem), BioScience Reports & The Royal Society of Chemistry (Finland Local Section) will have poster prizes to be awarded to the best poster presenters. This will be done towards the closing of the event on the 4th of June (15:45-16:00), the best posters selected by the evaluation committee will be awarded. The awards will be exclusively for early career researchers (PhDs and postdocs)!
