The Policymaking

CHALLENGES TO OPEN SCIENCE SCHOOLING INNOVATION AND RE-THINKING SCIENCE EDUCATION

Based on lessons learnt in the project this policy paper defines and points towards what policies and programme initiatives are needed in new Erasmus+ from 2022. The policy paper is a 25 pages-long, richly illustrated document. The text is constituted by short and precise statements, referring to practical experience from FAMILYBASED OPEN SCIENCE SCHOOLING and similar projects. The language of the document is non-academic, making its content accessible and attractive to very large audiences. The document identifies the most important challenges to include the community in general and families in particular in the realisation of open science schooling and will recommend strong focuses and
priorities in the 2021-27 Erasmus+ programme directly addressing those challenges.
