FAMILIES IN SCIENCE LEARNING!
This 30 minutes-long movie has been co-created by the participating students and their families. The movie explains in the most authentic way possible how the students learnt in interaction with their family when contextualising open science schooling, and how this learning is different from traditional science teaching.
The project movie documents how the students and the Joint Teams developed new images of and engagement in science and science learning along the project duration and the many activities they were involved in. The FAMILY IN SCIENCE LEARNING movie demonstrates, therefore, the young students’ development process, doubts, hesitation and the many challenges they faced on their science journeys. The movie is produced across the project and its scenarios – from the first days of student teams’ involvement to the final mobility at the end of the project.
