Early stage researchers
Early Stage Researchers (ESRs)
The recruitment process targeted talented and highly motivated ESRs from all over the world. GenomMed selected the researchers following open, merit-based, transparent, impartial and equitable selection procedures. The recruitment of 12 ESRs was done in two calls with identical processes.
Each ESR is a part of one local research group, and each ESR has at least two supervisors. The main supervisor, who is the principal investigator (PI) of the research group, has a full responsibility for the overall management of the ESRs training and research project. Additional supervisors guide the ESR related to their own scientific expertise. The main supervisor together with co-supervisors offer advice and guidance to the ESR towards the completion of their PhD degree.
