Group reports & presentations 2025

Below you will find the presentations and reports from the student groups in which they present the findings of their fieldwork in the different case localities.

The aim of the fieldwork was to get a first hand impression of the different municipalities, their challenges and potentials as shrinking localities, to conduct some analysis on their internal development and socio-cultural processes, and to provide some suggestions for future sustainable development that could be considered in the localities. Naturally, considering the short time available for the student groups and certain restriction such as language barrier these reports should not be treated as in-depth scientific analysis of the different localities and their socio-economic and cultural environment but they provide a brief, yet in our opinion valuable outside perspective on these places including their challenges and potentials.
