Hanie Asemi

Doctoral Researcher

Hanie is a PhD student at the School of Computing at the University of Eastern Finland and a member of the Learning Analytics research group. Her research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, specifically, she works on agent-driven learning platforms that aim to address challenges in current AI-driven learning systems and improve human-AI interactions in learning environments.

Hanie holds a Master’s degree from Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University, Iran, and she has over six years of professional experience as a software engineer, with strong expertise in programming, software design, system architecture, and DevOps practices. Before joining the Learning Analytics group, Hanie worked as Chief Technology Officer at Appetit, where she led the technical team and supervised software development processes.
