Doctoral Researcher

Aleya Nur Mohol Siddika is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Eastern Finland. She is working in the ERC-funded INTEL project, where she contributes to the project’s technical development and interdisciplinary research activities. Her work focuses on computational approaches to large-scale legal datasets, combining natural language processing, large language models, learning analytics, and advanced software engineering methodologies to data-driven legal research. She has a background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and NLP, Aleya plays a key role in integrating technical innovation with law principles. Her research aims to bridge computational methods in the legal domains by doing legal data analysis. Within the INTEL project, she collaborates closely with researchers at both the Law School and the School of Computing, assisting interdisciplinary collaboration and helping to narrow the gap between legal theory and computational implementation. She is trying to advance computational legal studies through innovative and applied research.
