Bonface Abima is a doctoral researcher, in Science, Technology, and Computing (SCITECO) majoring in Computer Science at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF). He is currently working on “Implementing Learning Analytics to Support and Improve Collaborative Learning in an Online Learning Environment: The case of Public Universities in Uganda”. His research interest leans towards learning analytics (LA), computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL), Social Network Analysis (SNA), and Educational Technologies. He beleives, by harnessing data about students learning behavior and experiences, we can gain significant perspective of collaborative learning process within an online environment and this can help to improve collaborative learning.
