Venue
The conference takes place at the University of Eastern Finland’s Agora-building (address: Yliopistokatu 4, Joensuu). All keynote lectures and panels are held in lecture rooms and auditoriums of Agora building.
On-site registration
Registration for the conference is open between 17 April and 18 August, 2026. The conference fee (Early Bird 75€, Late Bird 95€) is paid upon registration.
When you arrive at the venue, please confirm your participation and collect your name tag. You will find the on-site registration desk in the Agora building. Conference assistants at the registration desk are happy to answer your possible questions on practical matters!
Please note that only participants who are both registered and wear a name badge have access to the conference rooms. We kindly ask you to always wear your name badge.
Restaurants at the Campus
Joensuu campus restaurants serve lunch from Mondays to Fridays. Restaurant Carelia serves lunch also on Saturdays. All campus restaurants offer vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian dishes, and are located within a short walking distance at the campus area. Conference dinner
Conference dinner takes place on Friday 4 September. The dinner (ca. 60€) is paid upon registration. More information will be given when the registration opens.
Accommodation
Conference participants will have a possibility to book a room at the University guest house. There are studio apartments (with a kitchenette) and one bedroom apartments (with a separate kitchen). All apartments come with a shower, sauna, toilet, balcony, washing machine, TV, wireless and wired internet connection, and a second bed for an extra charge.
Cleaning, bed linen and towels are included in the price.
