Call for Papers

We welcome proposals for papers around the questions related to theme of the conference, for example on the effects and importance of religious diversity, globalisation, migration and pluralism to Orthodox Christian religious education, pupils, educators and curricula in various contexts.

Paper presentations will last 30 minutes, including 10 minutes for discussion and questions.

Deadline for abstracts has been extented until 25 April, 2026.

Abstracts of paper presentations should be between 1500-3000 characters, and should pose a title and research question, describe methodology and main conclusions, as well as the paper’s contribution to the study of Orthodox Christian religious education. In addition to the abstract, you should provide a biography of max. 750 characters.
