2023 Workshop on imaging data

UEF Workshop on Imaging Data — 22 May 2023 @ Kuopio

UEF Workshop on Imaging Data will gather together researchers around UEF working with imaging data. The research day provides UEF researchers a place to meet colleagues working with similar types of data and to exchange knowledge. Researchers who collect or analyze imaging data as well as researchers developing methods to analyze imaging data are both welcome.

The research day’s program one keynote presentation by Prof. Vesa Kiviniemi from University of Oulu and short invited presentations from UEF’s research groups.

The day is open and free for everyone. For planning coffee and transport, we request registration by 13 May 2023. [Register here] Transport from/to Joensuu campus is going to be arranged!

If you want to present your own research, you can sign-in to provide a lightning talk. They will max 2 minutes in length and can contain up 3 slides. The organizers would urge PhD student and post-docs working with imaging data to give a talk in this event. This can truly open up new and important collaborations.

Sign-up to give a lightning talk here.

The deadline for lightning talks is (extended) to 10th May 2023. (Please remember also to fill-in the registration form as the coffee service and transport from/to Joensuu will be based on information in that form)
