Sampling and genetic analysis

Genetic analysis requires two tubes of EDTA whole blood (2 x 3-7 ml). However only one small tube is required (1 x 0,5 – 3 ml) if patient is newborn. If EDTA whole blood is not available extracted genomic DNA is required (>50ng/µl, >100µl).

Each sample tube should contain the following information:

name of the patient
personal identification number
sampling date

Please store EDTA whole blood samples in fridge prior shipping. Send samples as soon as possible after sampling at ambient temperature.
