UI-SouthVation Challenge 2021

The UI-SouthVation Challenge 2021 focuses on idea to start-up phased food innovations in the Global South and is open to innovators, researchers, community organisations, start-ups and small and medium-sized businesses. Participants are sought particularly from Kenya, southern Africa and Peru. Applicants located outside of the countries named above may be eligible, provided they have a country partner and can demonstrate how the proposed innovation can be of benefit in one of the countries or regions named above.

UI-SouthVation is an innovation challenge launched by UI Global, focusing on the innovations for tackling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The UI-SouthVation Challenge 2021 is brought to you by UI Global and the Global Foodnet.

Submissions to the UI-SouthVation Challenge 2021 is now closed. Finalists will be announced on 2nd December 2021 and the final pitch challenge is on 14th December 2021. Stay tuned for the programme.
