Higher education graduates’ employability and social positioning in the labour market 2018-2022 (HighEmploy)

The consortium project, funded by the Academy of Finland, focuses on the Finnish dual higher education (HE) system and HE graduates’ social positioning in the labour market in relation to the level of a degree, institutional setting and location as well as disciplinary field. The study relies on a multi-method approach combining quantitative and qualitative data (register-based data-set, survey, follow-up interviews) and methods. The study provides knowledge on the relative value of education and social selectiveness in HE graduate employability. Moreover, the study provides knowledge on HE graduates’ labour market trajectories and social positioning in relation to employability.
