The North Savo Generations Study

The North Savo Generations (NSG) Study expands the ongoing OSTPRE women follow-up into their descendants to study trajectories of musculoskeletal and mental health, subjective well-being (SWB), and their association with work disability in families across three generations.

The study aims to achieve a more holistic view of the underlying causes of these health disorders and related sociodemographic inequalities by utilizing multiple layers of health surveys, epidemiological and clinical information, and national register data.
