The bulk reservations have been made for two hotels in Joensuu with affordable prices: Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna Joensuu and Scandic Joensuu. Prices include breakfast and free Wi-Fi. The hotels are located in the city centre and are within walking distance from the University of Eastern Finland campus and railway station. Accommodation should be booked by using a code. Room reservations must be made by August 30, 2024, after which any remaining rooms will be released for resale, and reservations can be made at the same price only based on availability. Room reservations can be canceled flexibly until 6:00 PM on the day of arrival. Participants are personally responsible for accommodation and cancellation costs.

Reservations are made at scandichotels.fi using the booking code FIARB. Guests can choose their preferred room type and receive an additional discount by paying for the reservation immediately at the time of booking. The cancellation policy for individual accommodation reservations depends on the type of reservation chosen by the guest. Rooms are subject to availability based on the hotel’s reservation situation.
