Pilot areas

Solutions for cultivating sphagnum moss, such as establishing growing areas and managing water resources, are being developed in pilot areas.

In the project’s pilot area in Kyyrönsuo, the first cultivations began in 2022, and the cultivation areas were expanded in 2024 and 2025.
