Symposium Reception

The Symposium Reception will be held at the at Kuopio City Hall. Kuopio City warmly welcomes all guests. Participants will enjoy drinks and snacks during the event. Attendance is free of charge, but please make sure to register for the Symposium.

Symposium Dinner

Venue: Hotel Scandic Kuopio, Satamakatu 1, 70100 Kuopio
The dinner includes a welcome drink, a three-course meal, two glasses of wine, and coffee or tea.
The Symposium Dinner will be held at the Scandic Kuopio Hotel, beautifully situated by Lake Kallavesi. Participants will be welcomed with drinks on arrival, followed by a three course dinner.
The hotel is conveniently located near Kuopio city center, just a 20-minute walk from the market square. Participation for the Symposium Dinner must be chosen when registering for the Symposium.

The FinFTD Minisymposium brings together leading researchers and clinicians to discuss current advances in frontotemporal dementia (FTD) research. The program provides a compact overview of key developments in the FTD field and covers clinical, epidemiological, and translational perspectives, with a particular focus on biomarkers, disease phenotypes, and patient-derived models.
Th Minisymposium welcomes all interested participants free of charge and is organized as a side event of the Kuopio Neuroscience 50 years Symposium (15–17 June 2026).
