Services provided by the CTIU

We also provide a service for all parts of an imaging based experiment from (histological) sample preparation to data sharing. If you can not or do not want to perform any or all steps of your imaging, the CTIU staff can do them for you.

• Sample preparation
  Our experienced histology lab can prepare your samples for you according to what you require for your experiment.

• Imaging
  We are happy to image your samples for you, whether it is histological slides or fluorescent samples. According to your experimental needs, we will select the right microscope with you and either manually image your sample or start the acquisition process on one of our automated microscopes and deliver high quality images to you.
  
• Image Analysis
  If  you have images that need quantification we can do this for you. You provide us with the images and details about the analysis and we can return either full scientific plots or spreadsheets for you to plot yourself.
  
• Data Sharing
  When you are ready to share your images with the world and make them available to the larger community we can upload them for you to widely used image data repositories such as BioImage Archive.
  
  

Support for you experiments will of course remain free for everyone at the university.
