The 2026 Finnish Gender Studies Conference is rescheduled to 19–20 November 2026. The reason for rescheduling is the lack of accommodation available in Joensuu during the Kontiolahti Biathlon World Cup in 26–29 November. Pre-conference program including the writing workshop and open panel discussion is rescheduled to 18 November. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The call for working group proposals is extended until 8 April 2026.

The conference program starts at 12 on Thursday, November 19, and ends at 16 on Friday, November 20.

Pre-conference program will be arranged for Wednesday, November 18, including a writing workshop for PhD researchers (PhD students) and postdocs during the day, and a panel discussion open for all during the evening.
