RoboSTEAMSEN

Training SEN teachers to use robotics to foster STEAM and develop computational thinking

The RoboSTEAMSEN project (2023–2025) aims to understand the needs of students with disabilities and adapt robotics and active learning methodologies to their specific challenges, ensuring a personalized learning experience.

In today’s society, professionals need 21st-century skills, and STEAM disciplines play a crucial role in developing them. However, including students with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) in these fields remains a significant challenge. RoboSTEAMSEN seeks to support educators by providing methodologies and tools that promote STEAM learning for students with IDD through robotics and active learning approaches.
