Fitsum Deriba

Fitsum is a doctoral researcher at the University of Eastern Finland. He is working on “Using Learning Analytics for Disadvantaged Groups: Design, Implementation, and Best Practice” under the guidance of Dr. Mohammed Saqr and Professor Markku Tukiainen. His research interests lie in exploring the intersection of learning analytics and digitalizing higher education, student data privacy, and artificial intelligence models focusing on disadvantaged students. He believes that by leveraging data and analytics, we can gain valuable insights into the learning process and improve educational outcomes for students.
