Valoa perheille -tapahtuma
Itä-Suomen yliopisto yhdessä Itä-Suomen yliopiston LUMA-keskuksen ja Fotoniikan lippulaiva PREIN:n kanssa kutsuvat sinut osallistumaan “Valoa perheille” -perhetapahtumaan, joka järjestetään nyt neljännen kerran Joensuun Botanian upeissa maisemissa lauantaina 3. toukokuuta 2025 klo 10–14.
Tapahtuma tarjoaa monipuolista ohjelmaa kaikenikäisille ja -tasoisille osallistujille. Teemana tänä keväänä on tutkimusmatka Planeetta Botanialle! Lapsille (n. 3–12-vuotiaille) järjestetään inspiroiva valoaiheinen seikkailu, jossa ratkotaan valoaiheisten tutkimusten kautta Planeetta Botanian erikoisia ominaisuuksia. Seikkailu sopii pienimmille aikuisen kanssa ja isommille itsenäisesti.
Tapahtumassa voit myös valmistaa äitienpäivälahjan tärkeälle henkilölle fotoniikan eli valotieteen teknologian avulla. Lisäksi kaikki tapahtumaan osallistuneet pääsevät tutustumaan Taidepuutarha Botanian lumoavaan ympäristöön. Tapahtuma on avoin kaikille ja maksuton! Tule siis mukaan viettämään mukavaa päivää perheesi kanssa ja juhlistamaan samalla Kansainvälistä poikienpäivää sekä äitienpäivää. University of Eastern Finland, together with University of Eastern Finland’s LUMA Center and the Photonics Flagship PREIN, invites you to participate in the “Light for Families” family event, which will be held for the fourth time in the stunning surroundings of Joensuu’s Botania on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The event offers a diverse program for participants of all ages and skill levels. This spring, the theme is an exploration of Planet Botania! An inspiring light-themed adventure will be organized for children (approximately 3–12 years old), where they will uncover the unique features of Planet Botania by solving light-related scientific challenges. The adventure is suitable for younger children with an accompanying adult and for older children independently.
At the event, you can also create a Mother’s Day gift for someone special using photonics, the technology of light science. Additionally, all participants will have the opportunity to explore the enchanting surroundings of Botania Art Garden.
